Heres some misc images I took of the Senao pcmcia card bought from wisp-router These cards are also sold by EnGenius Technologies and they are sode and listed SL-2511 EXT2 which is the same as the NL-2511CD+EXT2 with the external antenna connectors. EnGenius also has a SL-2511CD PLUS which is the same as the NL-2511CD+ with internal antennas.

The Senao card also has a mini pci model which i don't have currently and it uses a hirose connector and to implement that on a laptop you'll probably have to do some minnor modifications on your laptop to route the LMR antenna cable.

The Senao Pcmcia card like the one in the images below come in three models, for a buying tip make sure you are getting the one with the 200mW transmit power, you'll notice that the 100mW card also listed as the "Mercury", the Mercury card is sold for half or less of what the 200mW card goes for so make sure you check out which card your buying from your vendor or dealer before you purchase them

1. The NL-2511CD+EXT2 is 200mW 802.11b Prism 2.5 PCCard with Dual External Antenna Ports.

2. The NL-2511EXT2+Mercury is 100mW 802.11b Prism 2.5 PCCard with Dual External Antenna Ports

3. The NL-2511CD+ is a 200mW Wireless PCCard with Built-In Antenna.

From different online vendors i've also seen the EnGenius card with a 300mW transmit power but I have not physically seen or used it so I can't comment on that.

These cards with the external antennas are built with a mail MMCX connector on them so you'll want to get a jum per cable with it at least a 5 footer at the longest. Before making your final descision on what you need all toge ther plan ahead on your cabling for your antenna application, every card manufacture and pcmcia card uses differen t connector types, you don't want to have to get a different adapter for each card you buy or decide to get later in the future plus these connectors on the card are also very delicate and they do break easily.
